invigilation On becoming a teacher:
At the core of my professional motivation, I appreciate seeing sustainable change in students -- seeing my influence positively making my students stronger, more thoughtful and independent members of society. My professional satisfaction comes from being a contributor that encourages, strengthens, and fosters talents and abilities of students, especially, inspiring and empowering people to be the best they can be. Outside of teaching, I have strong interests in contemporary affairs, travel, food and music, but these experiences are all ones I draw on in the classroom.

An admirable person:
Malala Yousafzai is the face that needs to be associated with equal educational opportunities. She is the voice whose message has roused audiences across the world to take action and whose force has earned her a Nobel Peace Prize. Her advocacy which supports education for all globally inspires and helps humanize the importance of education -- giving meaning to learning in a way that the focus of test scores have robbed students from.

An inspirational person:
Coming from the land of ice and volcanoes, Björk continues to reinvent herself with every album. People are touched by music in different ways throughout their lives. She understands the need for musical evolution, not only creating pieces that resonate with audiences at different points in their lives but also songs that reflect the changing world around them.

Top tip to younger self:
Take things one day at a time.
