Coronavirus: Push back GCSE and A-level exams, says Labour

By ITS Education Asia

Given students are currently months behind in their studies, many in the UK are recommending that the next years exams are delayed.  The UK Labour party is just the latest to add their voice to this recommendation. They say next year's A-level and GCSE exams in England should be pushed back to mid-summer to help cope with the impact of coronavirus.

Exams scheduled for May should happen as late as July to allow more catch-up teaching time.

The government said it would "consider" its approach but exams would go ahead.

Chalkface will follow this story and keep our readers updated on any changes to the exam dates.
