When you think of states in the US with the highest higher education ranking, Florida might not be your first choice, however this year it is the Sunshine state that takes the crown.
Metrics for the ranking included the number of citizens holding degrees, costs of attending college, student debt burden, and time it takes to complete a two- or four-year program.
But don't expect Florida to give up its title any time soon. The state just announced a 9.5 per cent increase in its college graduation rate over the last five years, and have reduced the costs of a bachelor degree to under USD10,000 with financial aid.
