An interesting report on the failure of GCSEs to prepare students for work which therefore strengthens the argument that they are great preparation for study. There are deep social questions surrounding the nature of schooling for large populations but from an international and individual perspective, students following a UK academic path are likely to want to complete all the way through bachelor level.
