International students may be able to stay in UK for two years after graduation

By ITS Education Asia

A new proposal has been announced by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson would allow international students to stay in the UK for two years after graduating to potentially find work.

The proposal would mean that international students who have successfully completed a course in any subject at an institution with a track record in upholding immigration checks would be able to benefit from the measures. This would apply to students who start courses in 2020-21 at undergraduate level or above.

This could be very good for many Hong Kong students who go to the UK to complete their tertiary studies.
