Synced, a website that focuses on AI technology, reports that the South Korean government will introduce AI to high school Education in 2021. The east Asian government will also to train 5000 incumbent teachers by 2025.
The high school courses will be two career elective subjects “introductory AI” and “mathematics of AI”. Korean elementary and middle school curriculums will include programming, basic principles of AI, use of AI and AI ethics.
It will interesting to see how much AI systems are introduced to deliver education alongside pupils being taught about AI.
