Learning to recycle and reuse through art

By ITS Education Asia

This article from the China Daily shows a photographic collection of the art that students have been creating from recycled waste. Over the past three years, some primary school students in Harbin, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, have turned recycled waste into various creative handicrafts.

Under the teachers' guidance in the art classes, students from Qunli Zhaolin No 2 Primary School have created different artworks such as sculptures, shields, helmets and armor with plastic bottles, cardboard waste and disposable dishware.

Take a look through the photos — the kids have done some amazing work!
