What do I enjoy most about tutoring?😁

I like being a tutor because I can feel a sense of accomplishment when a student ask question, or discover interest in learning. Being a strict tutor is easy, but not effective, what a tutor should do is to support and lead students on their learning.

Other than my advantage of experience, I think I have another advantage of being a tutor that students comfortably try to seek help from.

Most important things I can do for a student🏅

Apart from teaching the student and help them with their study, I think the most important thing that a tutor should do and can do for the students is transferring not only knowledge, but also experience on taking exam, preparing for the exam and make plans for their future development.

I am Jeff, a final year student studying Marketing at Hong Kong Baptist University. I consider myself a person who is patient, passionate, and good at explaining and simplifying complicated things for junior students. I am always driven by the students who seek academic improvement, which make myself work even harder to suit the students’ needs. With my experience on tutoring students, I believe I am capable for the role.

The latest students that I teach wanted improvement academically, in particular English, but lack of self-control. I tried providing advice on her daily life instead of merely studying, and eventually it was effective. She started learning English through playing games, watching movies and reading comics.
