During this course you will develop the
fundamentals of fashion marketing. The course is offered at two levels:
Level 1 aimed
at school leavers and students
Level 2 for professionals looking for career enhancement or
aspiring designers looking to build their own brand or business.

Tutor: Alan Hau
Alan was born in Hong Kong and raised in the UK. He is a graduate of the world
renowned Royal College of Art. With over 15 years experience, he has lived and worked across the
world, designing and consulting for international names such as Alfred Dunhill, Diesel, Fred Perry,
Ellesse, Blanc Bleu, G2000, Avery Dennison Global Creative Services and Korean retail group NIX
where he was director of fashion launching both mens and womens collections for its two in-house
brands.
In 2015, he founded the Five Pillar Consulting hub, helping brands and
suppliers create a new future through creative strategy, branding concepts, trend analysis, design
& production. Alan has collaborated on a number of groundbreaking fashion and techstyle
startups, the most notable is Arts Thread, now the world’s leading network for creative
graduates and China based GlobalTextiles.com. He has extensive higher education and professional
training experience, and is a regular invited keynote speaker in Hong Kong and China. Alan has also
consulted for the China General Chamber of Commerce in Beijing to develop courses for their EMBA
Fashion Management Program.
